Money Matters!

Value, commitment, investment. It’s all important to your success.

I mentioned before that investing in yourself is always worthwhile, but it’s important that you invest wisely.

The average person spends £2,400 per year on failed diet attempts, gym memberships they don’t use, and supplements that don’t work.

My clients invest once and get results that last a lifetime.

On average, people in the UK spend over £20,000 on weight loss, according to a study by Benenden health.

Stop paying for calculators or cookie cutter plans, and start investing in lifelong skills.

When you pay for coaching, you don’t just get a ‘done for you’ service. That’s important, really important, because, by doing everything for you, most services create a dependence. You need to keep going back, over and over again, without really understanding what you’re doing, why, or even if it’s the best thing for you.

Sure, coaching may be a bit more expensive in the short term than say, paying for an app, but from day 1, coaching will build your skills and confidence to manage your own weight, health and fitness. It’s the difference between paying £1500 every year or two for a decorator to make over your home, or paying £3000 and learning to do it yourself. Imagine the savings you make over a lifetime. That’s what we’re talking about and your health is only going to get more important as time goes by.

We often forget about the big picture when we make these decisions, and often opt for false economy.

Affordability

Another big picture thought that you may want to consider is the money you currently spend on things that really don’t serve you. For example, it’s not uncommon for my clients to mention that they can’t afford a gym membership, even though they’d love to start exercising regularly. But, when we take some time to explore why that’s the case, it’s often that they’re overspending on things like takeaway, or eating out. I’m not here to tell you how to live your life, but I would encourage anyone struggling, to really think about their priorities in this situation, because you definitely need to enjoy your life, your food and your free time, but if you want to lose weight, or be healthy, there has to be some compromise. You have to lose something to gain something after all.

  • Health benefits: Reduced medication costs, better energy, improved mood and confidence
  • Time savings: No more researching diets, paying for things on repeat or guessing
  • Money savings: Stop buying products, programs and services that don’t work

3. Payment Options:

  • Monthly payment plans are available
  • Money-back guarantee
  • Better value than paying for a personal trainer, health coach and a nutritionist separately

Pay for what you need

You know you better that anyone else ever will… me included, so understanding what you need can help you to find the help you need, on the budget you can afford. For example, I offer free advice and that’s enough to help you make big changes to your life, but that comes with some compromise. Maybe the trial and error period is a bit longer, or the ideas you come up with are a little bit more limited, so you have to do a little bit more work on research to get everything you need, but it’s still possible. Taking time to explore all the options thoroughly, with a little bit of imagination, can really help.

If you need help with that, you can get an idea of the levels of support available, or you can book a call to discuss your needs.

When you’re ready…

I really want to work with you, because I’m sure I can help, but it’s just as important for me that you’re comfortable with the investment you’re making. Please take the time to think carefully, and if you need to, do the sums. Make sure that you can easily afford the investment and that you’re happy with the service you’re paying for, because then there’s less pressure, and that usually helps the process, your performance and your success.
